Following on from this year’ohydrates acclaimed line-based puzzler The See, developer My Pet dog Zorro are looking to continue this minimalistic yet just-as-satisfying style with Linelight — a game we all discovered earlier that year and believed got ample levels of probable in being the next great puzzle game. Placed within a similarly nominal and somewhat abstract aesthetic, players take over a blue line, called?“Dash” in this case, and guide the lonely set through networks with lines and power grids filled with obstructions, buttons and rather less pleasurable lines. Spread across three hundred levels, Linelight goals to challenging within the brain yet relaxed on the ears having a laid-back, ambient-esque score.
“My goal would be to take simplification to your extreme, initially for that fun/rewarding design challenge,” My Dog Zorro’s brain and lead artist Brett Taylor explains. “Lightlights lifeblood is its elegance: each puzzle and every line serve a unique purpose…I’m guessing you’ll have as much fun going through Linelights elegance as I managed creating it.” Linelight is going to be available on PS4, Xbox An individual & PC in the first quarter of 2017.
